KINKAKU-JI, KYOTO, JAPAN

Kinkak-Ji was originally built in the 14th century as part of the old-age residence of a shogun. The “Temple of the Golden Pavilion” is one of Kyotos countless shrines and perhaps the most frequently photographed. The two upper floors of the shogun were completely covered with gold leaf.

Polska wersja:

Kinkak-Ji został zbudowany w 14. wieku jako część rezydencji spokojnej starości szoguna. “Świątynia Golden Pavilion” jest jedną z licznych świątyni w Kioto i chyba najczęsciej fotografowaną. Shogun rozkazal jego dwa górne piętra calkowicie pokryc złotem.
