What you see on the main picture is the world’s largest salt lake. That fascinating salt pan is at the height of 3653 m and the remains of a vast salt lake. I find this place wonderful for photography and hope to visit Bolivia some day. You can for example book a guided tour in a four-wheel car in order to discover the natural phenomena like the shimmering freshwater lakes, which are rich in wonderful copper-enriched hot springs. Another attraction of this area is the Geothermal Area Sol de la Mañana with its stunning Geysir, bubbling mud holes and fumarole.
